Paradigm Deal Illustrates Interest in Catastrophic Care

Paradigm Outcomes, a provider of medical management for catastrophically injured workers, has entered into an agreement to be acquired by OMERS Private Equity, the companies announced Thursday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. But Joe Paduda, principal of Health Strategy Associates, said the transaction values Paradigm at more than $1 billion.
