Paradigm’s premier educational event, the Catastrophic Clinical Summit, brings together team members each year for three days of extensive learning and collaboration. The 2025 Summit held September 12–14 in New Orleans, Louisiana, was another successful gathering filled with hands-on workshops, continuing education opportunities, and engaging team activities. Focused on the theme “Helping Injured Workers Find Harmony in Chaos,” attendees explored the critical need for person-centered connections in an often turbulent care environment.
The Catastrophic Clinical Summit is a cornerstone of our training commitment, equipping team members with specialized expertise to meet the complex recovery needs of seriously injured workers and their families. Paradigm Management Team members regularly participate in injury-specific catastrophic continuing education courses, both at the Summit and other opportunities throughout the year. Our team’s ability to stay at the forefront of best practices and approaches in their fields is key to ensuring consistently superior outcomes for the clients and injured patients we serve.
Summit highlights
The three-day summit took place at The Roosevelt—steps away from the French Quarter in the heart of New Orleans—and saw more than 450 attendees, including sponsors, partners, and speakers. Representatives from Paradigm included the Clinical Resource Operations team, Directors of Clinical Solutions, Paradigm Medical Directors, Network Managers, Clinical Specialists, Community Support Specialists, the Go-to-Market team, Executive Leaders, and more.
This year’s keynote speaker was entrepreneur and visual artist Allison Massari, who survived two separate life-threatening car accidents, sustaining second- and third-degree burns over 50% of her body. With a deep understanding of both the role of patient and caregiver, Allison’s heartfelt talk was centered on the need to see struggle, inspire change, and appreciate the extraordinary impact healthcare professionals can have in the wake of catastrophic injuries. Allison’s story was beyond impactful and left our attendees in awe of her vulnerability and resilience.
