Associate Clinical Director

Paradigm is looking for the right candidate to fill an Associate Clinical Director opening.  This position is fulltime, benefited and can work from the candidates’ current location or in Walnut Creek, CA office.  Minimal travel required.

The Associate Clinical Director, (ACD) functions as a member of the virtual team to assist with the development and management of Outcome Plan and Complex Large Loss Plan contracts.  The ACD works collaboratively with the designated Paradigm Management Teams to assist with contract development activities and to provide routine oversight of the clinical and financial performance of Paradigm contracts to ensure the successful achievement of the targeted clinical and financial outcomes.  Along with the Directors of Clinical Services, the Associate Clinical Director will focus on meeting established key performance indicators and timeframes in order to achieve a high level of carrier/client satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related field.A professional degree in a healthcare related field with a Master’s degree in business or health services administration is preferable.

Clinical Marketing Manager

Paradigm is seeking an accomplished team oriented individual to join our marketing team.  This position is full time and will work in the Walnut Creek Office.

This position is responsible for planning and executing a marketing strategy emphasizing the breadth and depth of Paradigm's clinical expertise. The candidate will be responsible for creating marketing materials, executing marketing programs, and working with senior-level internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to capitalize on Paradigm's clinical capabilities through sales and marketing venues including conferences, sales meetings and webinars.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other work-related duties may be assigned.

Clinical Marketing

  • Partner with Sales and Clinical teams to identify and promote clinical expertise
  • Develop clinical marketing materials, such as white papers, PowerPoint slides, blog posts and social media content. Manage contract designers and internal stakeholder reviews
  • Ensure consistency across marketing materials (language, metrics, images) and across channels (printed, intranet, public website) as materials are developed and updated
  • Identify and apply for clinical awards on behalf of the company, our physicians, nurses, clinical staff, etc.

Consulting (RN) Nurse Case Managers

We pride ourselves on the relationships built between our nurses and the injured workers.  Nationwide opportunities available.

Conduct on site assessments for catastrophically injured individuals, gather data and initiate case management process.  Establish relationships and maintains communications with patients, families, providers, Paradigm’s carrier clients and employers. Participate in all patient related conferences with the Paradigm Management Team and assist with development of Paradigm contract. Complete accurate and timely written reports in accordance with Paradigm documentation standards and Best Practices.

Active RN license; valid driver’s license; CCM, CRRN or other approved certification and exceptional communication skills.

Director of Product Development

Paradigm is looking for a Director of Product Development to play a key role in creating the processes, tools and relationships necessary to enable the company’s expansion into new healthcare markets.  This is a full time position working in our Walnut Creek Office, with the potential to work virtually.  There will be some travel required for this position.

Working closely with the VP of Product Development, the Director of Product Development will be responsible translating Paradigm’s new product and market initiatives into reality.   Success in this newly created position requires someone with a passion for tackling the challenges facing our current healthcare system and the ability to work simultaneously on multiple levels – to engage in strategic, big picture thinking; analytical, structured problem solving; and nuts and bolts operational design. 


Responsibilities:  (include but are not limited to)

  • Develop a deep understanding of the business drivers for the target market segments and monitor and refine critical market assumptions and implications for product development.
  • Assist in shaping a complex case management solution for the general healthcare market (commercial, Medicaid, Medicare).

  • Create processes, tools and financial models to support new offerings, working closely with internal and customer staff.
  • Prototype initial service offerings, including workflows, reports, communication approaches to test in pilot projects.
  • Manage pilot projects to test and evolve solution features and processes, from concept to implementation and measurement.
  • Develop and test methods of measuring and evaluating the value of new offerings, working closely with Paradigm’s internal and external analytics experts.

The successful candidate will have:

  • BA/BS in Liberal Arts, Business, Healthcare or other related field required.

  • MA/MS in Business, Healthcare or other related field preferred.

  • Passionate about the goal of improve the healthcare experience in the US.

  • 7+ years’ experience in product development/management, consulting or operations, with most or all of this experience in the commercial and/or government-sponsored health services sector. 

  • Demonstrated success developing and implementing new solutions in the health services sector, preferably with a focus on accountable care, alternative payment models, population health and/or complex and post-acute care.

  • Deep understanding of commercial and government-sponsored health insurance and delivery.

  • Intellectual curiosity and an ability to view old problems with a fresh perspective; an entrepreneurial mindset geared toward the creation, execution and continuous improvement of a new care management model. 

  • Demonstrated experience translating requirements into scalable process designs and prototypes, including workflows, job designs, communication and reporting tools, etc.

  • Ability to create actionable information from clinical and financial data.  Can conceive and work with new approaches to measuring value related to care management solutions.  Knowledge of health plan data and analytics structures, and experience with healthcare economics, value measurement and/or population analytics, strongly preferred.

Paradigm is looking for a Document Administrator/Proofreader.  This position is fulltime benefited and will work in the Walnut Creek office.

·         Responsible for analysis of performance, clinical, and compliance data and information.

·         Development and maintenance of an organizational performance measurement system and database, including assistance in the maintenance of the professional staff data supporting compliance.

·         Conduct audits to measure and ensure adherence to established standards.

Strong multi-tasker, prioritization, self-initiation and organizational skills required. Advanced skills using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, Power Point and Visio software's. RN Field Case Manager in Chicago Area

This position performs onsite field case management functions of assessment, planning, implementation and facilitation while working with an internal interdisciplinary team and working collaboratively with treatment providers.  Candidate must be able to travel 65% of the time to regional destinations in order to carry out the onsite case management function.

  • Two plus years’ experience in catastrophic injury/illness case management to include onsite case management experience, with preference for experience in the Worker’s Compensation arena.
  • Candidates will have case management or clinical experience with management of acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple trauma (including amputation), burns and chronic pain syndromes.
