Biopsychosocial issues, though often recognized, frequently are not integrated into patient care. This may result in injured workers being offered pain treatment interventions that are unlikely to work.

Learn effective strategies to encourage treating physicians to incorporate biopsychosocial factors into treatment, including approaches to use when a physician fails to account for them and how to offer assistance and alternatives to misguided biomedical interventions.
