Working With Us

Paradigm works with providers in several ways. First, we draw from the nation’s leading centers of excellence to source our consulting physicians. Secondly, we work closely with attending medical teams to support the care of patients. Finally, we track provider performance data to inform decisions regarding which providers and facilities to select for optimal care.

Medical Director Selection

Sourced from the nation’s leading centers of excellence, our Paradigm Medical Directors are highly experienced physicians well known in their areas of expertise. With access to cutting edge research and practices that include hundreds of catastrophic cases, these physicians have a unique experience set upon which to draw. They stay with each case throughout the contract.

Attending Medical Team Support

The Paradigm Medical Directors work directly, physician to physician, with the attending medical teams. They provide continuity between providers and serve as a collaborator in care decisions. Working in collaboration with the attending medical teams, Paradigm includes attending doctors in the overall medical management process that extends from injury to recovery. Attending physicians often reach out to us to express appreciation for the level of expertise and consultation they receive when working with Paradigm. Attending physicians and facilities also appreciate the ability to deal with experts in service authorization and the fact that Paradigm eliminates the risk of retroactive denial of payments during our involvement.

Performance Tracking & Informing Provider Selection

Another way in which we work with providers is by helping families and attending medical teams select providers. To this end, we access our performance data to inform decision making. Knowing the options available and the intricate specifics of a particular injury situation optimizes fit decisions.

Working within the current medical system, Paradigm plays an important role in ensuring the right care is administered at the right time for each individual patient. This means coordinating handoffs, filling gaps in evidence-based medicine and supporting all involved.
