Despite the best efforts of safety and preventative measures, catastrophic injuries continue to occur in the workplace. These injuries represent less than 1% of all workers' compensation claims but as much as 20% of the total medical payout for the industry. Recovery is commonly prolonged or excessively costly when appropriate management is not provided to ensure that necessary care is expert, timely and efficient. The injured person and family are often unable to effectively manage the complexities of the catastrophic event. Often physicians and clinical personnel do not have a comprehensive strategic view of overall treatment needs and recovery. Without management support, recovery is too often unsatisfactory causing prolonged medical instability, disability and increased costs.

• Coordinated Case Management – Paradigm offers a technology supported systematic approach in managing the injured person's total care needs throughout the entire process of injury onset to recovery that results in reducing fragmentation, error and inefficiency.  Problems, deficiencies in care, and potential risks are systematically and proactively identified and managed to minimize complications and co-morbidities.
• Data Analysis – Paradigm developed and utilizes a proprietary database with access to clinical and financial data to support sophisticated projection and management of outcomes and costs. Our data is utilized to provide consistency in management, long-term outcomes, mitigation of complications, and a reduction in total medical costs. Paradigm has the only available database of such integrated longitudinal knowledge. 
• Provider Discount Apparatus - Paradigm utilizes a combination of network contracts, direct provider negotiation and prompt pay discounts and passes these discounts on to the customer.
